Yay! I got the Clock Skirt!!!

It’s a happy ending to a sad story!  I had this lovely skirt of my dreams in my shopping cart at Anthropologie.com for weeks and when I finally went back to buy it, it was GONE!  SOLD OUT!  I was so sad and bummed out.  Well, today I sold a purse on ebay for $99 (good news in it-self) and was looking around for something to spend my $$ on when out of the blue, someone listed this skirt in my size as a buy it now for $99!!!!  I snatched it up so fast I didn’t even know what happened and it was MINE!  I can’t wait for it to arrive.  Now I have to plan an outfit around it.  Any ideas what I should wear it with?  I know that I will wear my grandmother’s watch necklace around my neck and maybe some other necklaces too.  I am so happy!!!!

Madeline’s Birthday Celebration

Today we celebrated Madeline’s 14th birthday!  Isn’t she so cute in her vintage dress and kate spade handbag?  Lovely.

Mark and Harrison were patiently waiting for a seat at Macaroni Grill in Houston.  I just love Macaroni grill and was so glad Madeline picked that restaurant for her b-day dinner.  They give you a chocolate cake for your birthday dessert!!! Free!!!!

Aren’t these two of the nicest looking kids?  They are good too!  I am so blessed by my lovely children.  We had such a good time drawing on the paper tablecloth and talking about funny stuff…

Outfit of the Day Sunday Sept 19, 2010

Today I am wearing an outfit that is an example of “low end” looking like “high end”.  The entire outfit cost only $72! Crazy, right? Shoes and jewelry included!  The sweater and necklace are from Forever 21,the dress from Target and the shoes were also from Target off of the clearance rack. I ended up taking off the belt and using a ribbon to keep the black going.  After seeing the pic I thought the belt was too much.

Recent Outfits

I have been trying to make outfits using my Kate Spade clothing mixed with other brands to get variety.  I like mixing J Crew and Kate Spade together for a fun combo.  I will be playing around with my clothes a bit so I don’t have to buy new ones.  It is like playing Barbies…

Lost in Time Skirt from Anthro

I have found a skirt I would like to add to my birthday wish list.  It is the Lost In Time Skirt from Anthropologie.  It is so cute with a bunch of clocks all over and I love the black background!  What do you think?  I have wanted it for at least a month now…
